Coinage of the City State

And here comes more! This time, it's a combined effort of James Mishler and Henrik Landervik:
"I really liked the posts by James Mishler on the Necromancer boards about coinage in the City State, so I've put
the text and done some minor editing of it in a PDF document (with James permission).
Regards,
Henrik Landervik (Gaishunk on the NG boards)"

Wilderlands Players' Maps: Barbarian Altanis and Lenap
|
And the downloads keep coming! Here are some really impressive maps by Gabor Lux (aka Melan):
"As I have promised in the "JG First Impressions" thread, I have created player maps for two of the
Wilderlands regions: Barbarian Altanis and Lenap. The maps are as close to the originals as I (and
AutoREALM/MSPaint) could get. There are two versions for each, a standard and a high resolution variety (the latter are
huge!). I have also included blank hex maps for people who enjoy creating their own regions."

We have received still another cool and useful fan download by Rob Conley:
"First a PDF of a minimal Wilderlands map as you requested.
Second is a Campaign Cartographer map of the player maps. You can view and print with the viewer located at
http://www.profantasy.com/library/dpv.asp.
The map is layered.
To turn on hexes and map borders you need to un-hide the following layers
HEX/SQUARE GRID
MAP BORDER
if you wish hex number un-hide one of the CAMPAIGN MAP XX layers, with XX being the map number you want (new-style).
If you do not want the color fill then hide RELIEF/CONTOURS layer.
Please post any additional comments or suggestion on the Wilderlands forum.
I don't know of a plotter big enough to print the whole map in one go. However on 36" and 48" plotters you can use the
print command to print two strips that slightly overlap. Then carefully tape together.
Enjoy
Rob Conley
PS if you want really big sheet of hex paper set the layers as follows:
click on Map Frame
click on Hide All
uncheck Hex/Square Grid
uncheck Map Borders (if desired)"

CSIO: A Street Guide to the City State of the Invincible Overlord
|
We just received another great fan submission, this time from Michel Godbout. It's A Street Guide to the City
State of the Invincible Overlord!
"Anyone who assumed, like I did, that the Seal Maker (#15) was located next to the Balor’s Eye (#13) and the Boot
and Strap shop (#14) was in for a surpise as this was not the case. In order to speed up game time, this street guide gives
instructions to locate a particular place. It can be used by the Judge in order to prepare his next game session but also
allows his NPCs to give directions to the PCs on the quickest way to a location."
Click Here to download the Street Guide to the City
State of the Invincible Overlord now!
Here's yet another fantastic fan submission by Gabor Lux! Below the City can be placed under any
large city in the Judge’s campaign, although a neutral or evil one would work the best. It is appropriate for all levels of
play, although a low level party must proceed very cautiously to survive all traps and challenges. Check this out! Like
everything else Gabor has submitted so far, this is a great piece of work! Thanks a lot for sharing this, Gabor!

We're looking forward to your next submission!

This fantastic fan submission by Gabor Lux contains the fully detailed City State of Zothay, a minor city state

Once more, thanks a lot, Gabor!
This is an amazing NPC index for the City State of the Invincible Overlord, kindly submitted by Bryan
Sager:
"Someone on the NG boards mentioned that having an index of the NPCs in the City State would be useful. I had one
entered for the old version and have just updated it for the new CSIO. It is a list of all the NPCs in the city section of
the book with page number, building number, NPC name and some relevant information about the NPC (class, level, etc.). Some
of the information was not printed in the book, for example some NPCs were missing an alignment. I tried to fill these in
with data from the earlier version of the city. There is also a column for deity. If a cleric has a specific deity listed
or if the text mentions an NPC worshiping a specific deity it is listed there."
Click Here to download The CSIO NPC Index now (121 kb .xls)!
Thanks a lot, Bryan!
Here is a 12-page Population Density Chart, submitted by Marc Kuhl:
"This is a chart I put together just for random NPC or PC generation. It uses percentages to determine home region
and race. I used the languages by region chart to create a forumala that resulted in this chart."

Thanks a lot, Marc!
Here is a full 30-page adventure by Michael R. Proteau, aka Michael Proteau:
"The Tower of Karastal is a short adventure set in the Judges Guild Wilderlands.
It includes the description of a small village in Map 1 Hex 2826 just south of Bier on the Old South Road, a harrowing
wilderness journey into the foothills, and the ruins of an old wizard's tower. Also included are three maps. The scenario
was inspired by several Fritz Leiber tales of Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser and elements included in the Rorystone Road
download. Also incuded in the adventure is a new monster entry for the Aspect of Yeenoghu, based on the idea of Aspects
presented in Wizards of the Coast's Miniature Handbook©. I hope you enjoy reading through this!"

Thunderhold: Extra Material by Rob Conley
|
I modified the Thunderhold map I used in my campaign to conform to the thunderhold pdf. Should ease the
complaints on the readability of the map.
I have a color map with key
A color map without key
A b/w map with key for the gm
A b/w map without key for the players to scribble notes on.
Typically I print the color map without the key and just lay it on the table. Then I use my b/w map to scribble notes
and see the key. The players get b/w copies without keys. These maps are designed to be printed on 17x11 paper. Most
Staples and Officemax are capable of accepting PDF on floppies and printing direct. Also note the small download size it
because I draw them all up in CorelDRAW and export to PDF. A much smaller files results.
Enjoy!
